Our Hotel

Arts Gasteiz

Our hotel is one of the few located in the Almendra Medieval, the Historic Center of the city, which represents an authentic walk through the history of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The names of its streets – –Cuchillería, Herrería, Pintorería, Correría, (Cutlery, Blacksmithing, Pintorería, Correría) – recall the day to day activities that took place on them.

Medieval, Renaissance and Gothic and Plateresque styles are intertwined with avant-garde architecture and the most rabid modernity of a vibrant city full of culture and gastronomy, open to business. A city of cinema that has inspired novelists such as Ken Follett (A World Without End) and Toti Martínez de Lezea (La Judería) or Eva García Sáez de Urturi (El silencio de la ciudad Blanca), among others.

And in theenter of everything, Arts-Gasteiz.

In Vitoria

We are one of the few hotels located within the old town. With “la Kutxi” (Calle Cuchilleria) one step away, you will be at the perfect point to enjoy the city as a Gasteiztarra (Vitoriano). It is the perfect starting point to your tourist and gastronomic tour from the morning until late at night.

Everyone who visits Vitoria, falls in love with its streets. The high quality of life and its wide natural spaces are hallmarks of the city. Its commitment to promoting the natural environment has led it to be one of the most committed cities with the environment, becoming the European Green Capital. Enjoy the walks in our parks or in the Green Belt that surrounds us.

Its medieval and Renaissance town, declared a monumental complex since 1997, makes lovers of architecture and art fall in love with its beauty.

Conquer the gourmet palates with its taverns and restaurants, full of pintxos, Rioja wines and traditional and avant-garde gastronomy. This is confirmed by the title obtained as the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy in 2014.

It welcomes visitors with its affable character, making them feel at home, whether it is in the plazas with the swirling of the markets and the children playing and exchanging cards, or while enjoying music in its nightlife to the rhythm of jazz, rock or punk.
